The NSPCC is calling on companies to play their part in helping to end child cruelty by entering a team in the Buxton High Peak Hike Against Cruelty to Kids (HACK) on Saturday, September 3. Starting at 6am from Grin Low Country Park in Buxton, the 24-mile route explores the Derbyshire peaks, taking a circular route which covers parts of Buxton Country Park and passes the Cat and Fiddle pub.

Helen Verity, NSPCC community fundraising manager and HACK organiser said: "The Buxton HACK is a great opportunity for businesses, sports teams or social groups to get together for a team building exercise."

The registration fee is £20 per person and the walk is for over 18s only. The registration deadline is Friday, August 19.

Those interested in taking part in the walk should visit www.nspcc.org.uk/hack
